The Real Cabaret

In The Real Cabaret, actor Alan Cumming reveals the truth behind the fiction. He meets many of those closely involved with the original film, including a rare interview with Liza Minnelli.

Alan explores the origins of the Cabaret story through the writings of Christopher Isherwood and uncovers the story of the real Sally Bowles. And finally, ALan reveals the tragic fate of many of hte cabaret artists at the hands of the Nazis.
