IWC employs 150 staff, over two thirds of whom are based in Glasgow and over half of whom are permanent staff. Last year IWC won the Broadcast "Company Most Committed to Training Award". IWC has in-house facilities in both locations.
IWC built its reputation like most independents, working almost exclusively for Channel 4. Nowadays, IWC works for all major UK Broadcasters and last year produced over 200 hours of original programming for customers as diverse as BBC2 and Sky, Five and BBC Scotland whilst still maintaining very strong relations with Channel 4.
Most of IWC's factual output is represented by RDF International in the worldwide market and IWC's publishing and DVD output is handled by RDF Consumer Products.
